Since we look at successful PC/console games independent of ‘big studio’ origins, we reckon developers like Landfall ( “an indie studio from Sweden that makes physics games, also other games, sometimes funny” ) get a little, uhm, slept-on, despite their massive reach and many millions of sales/downloads. How offbeat style & UGC made Landfall win out.
